Look after your gift voucher. A gift voucher is a bearer note and must therefore be viewed as cash. The person who presents the gift voucher can use it for payment. The person does not have to provide further identification. Even if you have a confirmation from the gift giver or similar, we must unfortunately adhere to the rule that the gift voucher alone has value for the bearer of the gift voucher. The bearer has therefore the right to use the gift voucher as he or she would use cash to pay for a purchase, up until the expiry date has passed. Lost, missing or expired gift vouchers cannot be replaced.
